Moving On

Nate's iPhone 159‘The reason a writer writes a book is to forget the book and the reason a reader reads one is to remember it.’ – Thomas Wolfe –

I like this quote. When I went through a serious rough patch in my youth – cancer, divorce, death, money issues all wrapped up in one year – I wrote all about it, 127 pages of therapy. After I finished writing it all I put it in a desk and I haven’t reread it once since. It would probably be wise to reread it and see what kind of material I have to work with but the second I got it all out I no longer had to think about it.

Maybe this weekend is a good time to get some story out of your head thats been nothing more than a concept you will ‘get around to some day.’
